The Sunset Tiki Bar is open for another LobsterFest Thursday

We are open for another night of LobsterFest, drinks, and live music. Every Thursday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, for just $32.95 you will get a 1¼ pound lobster, with unlimited steamers, New England clam chowder, corn on the cob, assorted salads, apple pie, and blueberry pie. (one lobster per person). A steak option is available as an alternative for those who don’t want lobster. A children’s menu is available, children five years old or younger eat free.

Alex Markoski performing at WPIAlex Markoski is a young singer/musician (guitars, bass, keyboards) as well as a prolific songwriter with originals spanning multiple genres. In addition to his solo performance work, Alex is currently a member of 4 bands: Beyond the Obvious (acoustic duet), The Cranks (alt/indie band), Doss (rock band), and popALERT (pop/rock band). So far in his young career, he has an impressive 100+ performances under his belt including opening for international recording artists, The Guggenheim Grotto. Alex has performed at venues such as the Hard Rock Café in Boston, Showcase Live at Patriots Place Gillette Stadium, the Middle East, Rock Concert at WPI, Johnny D’s Uptown Restaurant and Music Club, Sad Café, just to name a few. His solo performances include many of his originals in addition to his versions of popular songs by Matchbox 20, Tonic, Snow Patrol, Finger Eleven, 3 Doors Down, Green Day, Weezer, Maroon 5, Radiohead, Butch Walker/Marvelous 3, Coldplay, Eve 6, Rob Thomas, Third Eye Blind, Smash Mouth, The Guggenheim Grotto, Reel Big Fish, Foo Fighters, and many more.

mcmurphys-band-0-tikiThe McMurphy’s have been playing their eclectic style of music for over 20 years. Performing throughout New England, New York, New Jersey and Maryland at Venues ranging from Ocean Resorts to Ski Resorts to the Finest Restaurants and Pubs.  Their music ranges from Oldies to Classic Rock to New Country to Jimmy Buffett Beach Tunes and Light Jazz to American Songbook Standards. Jay Murphy on Guitar and Vocals and Wally Welch on Drums, Percussion and Vocals.  Most nights they perform as a Duo, they can become a Trio, a Four-Piece or a Five-Piece by adding Will Yates on Bass Guitar along with Steve Lydon on Saxophone or Bob Lucas on Steel Drums Geoff Roman on fiddle.
