2013 Season starts May 30!

Tiki Bar season is approaching fast! We plan on opening May 30, 2013 for another great season. We have some exciting new menu items and drinks planned for this summer! We hope to see you for our 2013 Season opening to enjoy the sun and sand.

It’s our final weekend of operation here at the Sunset Tiki Bar and grill. The Sunset Tiki Bar is closing on September 15, 2012. It’s been a wonderful summer out there on the beach, we’ve had a lot of live bands play, cooked a ton of seafood, and poured many drinks since opening day.

Fall is in the air, and we’re already preparing for our next season!  The Sunset Tiki Bar is located at the base of Nashoba Valley Ski Area, which transforms into Witch’s Woods Haunted Hayride and Halloween Screampark in October.

If you are interested in group functions, we still host groups with an indoor building available in October.  We host birthday parties and snowtubing parties all winter long. call Pam Fletcher at (978)501-4700 or email pam@skinashoba.com.

Witch’s Woods features a haunted hayride, 3 haunted houses, and 2 self-guided haunted attractions.  There are carnival rides and games, and hourly stage shows with fire performances.  It’s scary and fun for daredevils ages 6 and up.

It looks like a fine night to head out for some drinks at the Sunset Tiki Bar and Grill.

Chris Reddy will play from 7:00pm – 10:00pm.  He has been playing guitar since he was 7 years old. He primarily plays solo acoustic with live looping integrating effects and ambience with technology to create a different solo acoustic experience. He has recently opened for Dave Mason, Gary Hoey, Johnny A, and Stan Ridgway. A new CD is scheduled for release this summer.

The Outlook Restaurant and Lounge at Nashoba Valley Ski Area

When the weather isn’t ideal, we have a large, air-conditioned, indoor restaurant and bar right here on site!  If you don’t notice the ski slopes as you drive through the parking lot, you might not know that the Sunset Tiki Bar is located at the base of Nashoba Valley Ski Area.  The ski area’s Outlook Restaurant and Lounge has been serving some of the region’s best dishes for many years.

If you’re debating whether to come for Lobster tonight because of a little bit of rain, we’ll have you covered.  The Sunset Tiki Bar can operate outside through some showers with 2 large event tents and covered seating for hundreds of customers.  If the rain comes down very hard, we always have the same menu upstairs, in the indoor restaurant.  If the Sunset Tiki Bar stays open, you can still head upstairs to the Outlook for fine dining.  It’s always open every Monday-Saturday from 5:00pm-1:00am and features some of the summer favorites like boiled lobster and our clambake special.

So even if the forecast isn’t looking as hot as it has been lately, head on over for a great meal, live music, and some drinks.  Outside or Inside, we’ll be here to serve you.

EVERY Monday starting JUNE 24, 2013. Get here by 5:00pm to take part in all of the activities.  The swimming area will be open until dusk, with a certified lifeguard on duty.

Family Fun-Day Mondays 5:00pm – 8:00pm

During Fun-Day Mondays we organize free activities for children including Swimming, Water Games, Horseshoes, Races, Bean Bag Toss and more.

Lobster Fest tonight, with high temps & live bands

It looks like another great night for Lobster Fest Thursday!  Live music performances by Chris Donahue and The McMurphy’s. If you’re feeling adventurous you can cool down in the pond or try one of our 80 specialty drinks!

Every Thursday Evening from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, for $32.95 you will get a 1¼ pound lobster, with unlimited steamers, New England clam chowder, corn on the cob, assorted salads, apple pie, and blueberry pie. (one lobster per person, steak alternative is available)

5:30-7:30pm – Chris Donahue

Chris Donahue is a solo musician who writes original songs and performs contemporary cover tunes for multiple venues around Massachusetts. His shows are very upbeat, modern and fun for all ages. Chris has been lucky to share the stage with Famous Musicians who have sold millions of records worldwide. Having performed 90 shows at over 15 venues in the past year alone, Chris Donahue is already a seasoned professional. He performs songs from artists such as john Mayer, Nickelback, Fallout Boy, Kings of Leon, Simon and Garfunkel, Bruno Mars, and many more.

8:30-11:30pm – The McMurphy’s

The McMurphy’s have been playing their eclectic style of music for over 20 years. Performing throughout New England, New York, New Jersey and Maryland at Venues ranging from Ocean Resorts to Ski Resorts to the Finest Restaurants and Pubs.
